Becoming a published Christian author can:
nt-weight: normal; "> 1) Increase your impact on peoples lives by taking them deeper into the truths you share.
2) Open doors of ministry by introducing new people to your message and ministry.
3) Extend the reach of your ministry by taking your message to places you havent been or couldnt go.
4) Help define your leadershipyour ministry takes on new significance when youre a published author.
5) Provide additional revenues to expand your ministry or fund projects.
There's never been a better time to be published
The opportunities for Christian authors are greater today than theyve ever been. Christian book sales are strong. Even secular booksellers are recognizing the growing demand for Christian books. Terrorism and the difficult days in which we live have made people more open and hungry than ever before for spiritual truth. They want and need what God is saying today.
The power of the printed word
A published book is generally viewed as being more authoritative than a spoken message. It carries more weight and delivers a more lasting impact on the person reading it. Most people who listen to a short message will forget what theyve heard within a day or two. A month later, they may remember it was an important message but cant quite recall what it was about.
A book, on the other hand, can create a more indelible impression on its readers. Its something they can read, study, and digest over a longer period of time. They can also easily go back and review what they have read. Finally, a book is more likely to produce a lasting change in the lives of its readersperhaps even produce significant breakthroughs!

Hi Brian, an excellent article and absolutely true. Some people who never attend church services, will read a good article and who knows when a tender heart will be moved to action. Thank you for sharing this.
Thanks for your comment, Joel. A few years ago I did an impromptu survey among some Christian friends. When I asked what most influenced their Christian walk(besides the Bible),the majority of them said reading a book impacted them the most. They even remembered the title of the book and what most influenced them. What's of interest is that it was not a sermon, tape, or life experience that had the most influence in their life.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for being a good steward over the ministry God has given. The opportunity to publish is not only ministry, but a means for continuing to spread the Word. Looking forward to hearing from your company, Published Author, JoAnn Artis Stevens
